Frankie and the Funk

This film, depicting the installation Frankie and the Funk, is a piece of subliminal messaging. The collage section of the portfolio show five collages depicting the five criticisms Marx makes about Capitalism. The installation itself is the most relatable of the five, the feeling that you can never relax as work is always hanging over you. This relatability makes it the easiest concept to understand. Whilst you are focusing on this metaphor, the other four collages have been embedded into the film. The film itself has been made as dull as possible, the idea behind this is to turn your brain to soup, and therefore making it more suggestable to the information it is being given.
